The double overtime thriller in Hilton happened. The Cyclones put themselves down 21 to BYU and had to give everything they had to get it to overtime which felt like it was setting up for one of those classic Hilton Magic moments. Unfortunately, it did not. Ultimately BYU landed enough punches to escape out with an 88-85 victory on senior night and give Iowa State another blow right before March Madness.

Since the Wildcats came into Hilton and punched the Cyclones in the mouth repeatedly, Kansas State has gone 5-4 and currently has a two-game winning streak. Nothing else to add here, the cyclones know they are going into a tough place to play on the last weekend of the regular season. Survive and advance to tournament time.

Coleman Hawkins. Don’t let him stretch the floor out and hit timely threes again in this one and you should have an easier time hanging around in this one. Hawkins hasn’t scored over 10 points in his last four games and you know on senior day he will be hunting for a bucket.
