CONNECTICUT — More wet weather - including a potential for thunderstorms - is in the forecast for the state as it moves into an “unsettled” pattern, forecasters say.
Michael Main, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said Connecticut has a chance for showers and thunderstorms for the next several days.
Connecticut will be in a “busy” weather pattern now through Sunday, with a couple of systems passing through, according to Main. Each day will have a chance for showers and thunderstorms, though the chance will decrease come Sunday, he said.
“Our recent bright & dry stretch is over,” reports WFSB. “A slow-moving area of low pressure is heading our way and bringing with it shower chances increasing throughout the day. Rumbles of thunder can’t be ruled out either.”
WFSB described the weather in the next few days as “unsettled,” but the station predicts that no day is looking like a total washout.
While temperatures have been pleasant in recent days, the state is expected to see higher humidity Thursday through Saturday, according to WFSB.

This higher humidity will make it feel more summer-like, the station reports. WFSB predicts we might need air conditioning.
On Sunday, the state will experience “drier, brighter and less humid weather,” according to WFSB.
