Several Cabinet Secretaries have made fresh appointments across various ministries, introducing new members to key state agencies and boards.
The appointments were announced through a gazette notice dated Friday, May 23, a move aimed at streamlining and enhancing operations within various dockets.
In the notice, Treasury CS John Mbadi appointed Monique Mukayagi to be a member of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis board for three years.
At the same it, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen designated Meldah Abenyo as Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances analyst. Meldah is set to commence her work on May 23.

Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya appointed Simon Mwachia to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Shipyards Limited, for three years, effective from May 23, 2025.
Agriculture CS Mutahi Kagwe also made four notable appointments to his docket. He appointed Kenneth Mburu, Joshua Koskei, Joyce Kioko, and Bernard Wakhungu to be Agricultural Finance Corporation board members for three years.
He also appointed Paul Kaguamba and Milton Luchiri to be members of the Board of Directors of the Pyrethrum Processing Company of Kenya for three years.
Additionally, Kagwe appointed July Ngene as a member of the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation for three years. He also reappointed Hassan Mohammed.
In the Ministry of Mining, Hassan Joho appointed Ruth Mumo as a member of the Geologists Registration Board for three years beginning from May 23, 2025, and revoked the appointment of Florence Tanui.
Energy and Petroleum CS Opiyo Wandayi announced the appointment of Christopher Odhimabo, who was assigned the role of a member of the Kenya Pipeline Company Board of Directors.
Similarly, he appointed Charles Owino to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) for three years.
Meanwhile, Education CS Julius Ogamba appointed Edward Musebe to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Commodities Fund for three years, effective immediately.
