is reminding the world that  once had her undergo a breast ultrasound on live TV, despite the fact that she was only 16 at the time. 

No, seriously.

Courtney— who, over the past few years, has spoken out against those who exploited her back when she was married to actor  as a teenager. (Courtney— who appeared on reality shows such and — is 34 years younger than Doug, but was allowed to marry him because her mother consented to the union.) 

On Friday, Courtney called out  for facilitating a very disturbing segment on his short-lived daytime talk show in 2011. Courtney— who was only 16 years old at the time— appeared on Dr. Drew’s show with Doug to discuss scrutiny surrounding their controversial marriage, and to dispel rumors about themselves. One such rumor was that Courtney had undergone a breast augmentation, despite being a minor. To clear up the rumor, Courtney underwent a live breast ultrasound on the soundstage to show that she had no implants.

In her post to Instagram on Friday, Courtney pointed out how exploitive and weird it was that Dr. Drew allowed this to be done on his show, and that he spent the segment commenting on an underage girl’s breasts. 

“Fighting for my sanity while Dr. Drew has other adults examine my 16-year-old girls [breasts] on national TV,” Courtney wrote in a comment of footage she posted from the segment. 

“Key word here: GIRL @drdrewpinsky been hiding from this for years… makes me very sad,” Courtney added, hashtagging the post “exploitation” and “gaslightingawareness.”

In the footage, the ultrasound tech, , Doug and Dr. Drew all discuss Courtney’s breast tissue as Courtney lays on an exam table under a privacy sheet. The camera flashes to the audience, where adults groan and comment when the ultrasound tech at first states that she sees a “circular object” within Courtney’s breast tissue. Courtney— who proclaimed multiple times that she did not have breast implants— even told Dr. Drew that “someone must have drugged me up and put me under their surgery knife because I’ve had no surgery done.”

Still, Dr. Drew insists that he sees an “implant.”

The ultrasound tech then admits that the “lump” they see and stated could be an implant could actually be a bone.

“So I guess she was telling us the truth?” the doctor responds. “She doesn’t look like she has an implant.” 

The audience applauds, as Courtney smiles but clearly seems uncomfortable. 

Although Dr. Drew hasn’t responded to being called out by Courtney, plenty of people took the post’s comment section to express their sadness and horror that Dr. Drew and countless other adults thought it was OK to examine and comment on a teenage girl’s breasts on live TV.

“It can take years before a person can realize what they were exposed to was deeply traumatizing and affecting them so good for you Court, hope you’re getting healing this is something that doesn’t happen overnight,” one person wrote.

Courtney responded to the comment, writing, “I am rebuilding this woman every single day with the support of all my STODDENISTAS. Thank you for shining light on how trauma works for those who don’t understand the impact it has on the human development.”

“I remember watching this live and I was SHOCKED,” another person commented. “We are the same age and I couldn’t imagine being you in that situation. I was totally disgusted that adults were having a child participate in this. The entire audience disgusts me now as well.”

“This is disgusting! 16? On LIVE TV!” someone else wrote. “The looks of JUDGEMENT from the crowd to a CHILD! The *doctor??* people CLAPPING when a CHILD’S boobs are proven real? Prodded like cattle? Sis, I would NOT be ok if I was you. Props to you and glad you’re speaking out.”

“I remember this and thinking wtf!? Now it’s maddening,” another person commented. “This is a GIRL. Not a woman. And adults/men just standing there allowing, exploiting and gawking. So gross. You deserved better. I’m sorry.”

Others called on Dr. Drew to take accountability for his part in this caper.

“@drdrewpinsky should address this publicly and be absolutely ashamed of himself for participating in this s**t,” one person commented. 

“He’s made a career out of exploiting young people. It’s disgusting,” another person wrote (most likely referring to Dr. Drew’s longtime gig as the host of the franchise reunion specials.)

In another comment, Courtney wrote that she did end up getting breast implants when she turned 18, but did not have them at the time she was on Dr. Drew’s show.
