Ok, sometimes we love to have fun in our house when it comes to baking, these Cookie Monster Cookies are a really fun recipe that we do.
While it resembles the fun character, it is so much more than that. It is a tasty consisting of white chocolate chips, Oreos and Chips Ahoy cookies.
I mean can you really go wrong with that combination? I think not! They are absolutely devoured around here.

Another great think about this recipe is that everything is made in one bowl, so little amount of dishes that you have to do.
AND they are a no chill cookie so you don’t have to wait on refrigeration to pop them in the oven for the perfect cookie.

Yes, if you want to have these on hand and made but to bake later you can freeze the dough itself.
To freeze the dough, scoop it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes – 1 hour. Transfer to a freezer bag and freeze for 6 months.
When you are ready to bake, lower the oven temperature to about 20 degrees F lower and bake for about 3-5 minutes longer.
With this recipe, no you do not need to chill the dough before baking. They have enough structure in the dough to keep their shape while baking without spreading.
To get that bright vibrant blue color you are wanting to use a gel food coloring.
We use Royal Blue in this recipe, but gel food coloring is more potent when it comes to color than liquid.
So a little of the gel goes a long ways.
This is more for the presentation than anything, but it also adds more flavor to the cookies.
We love to do this with all our cookies, usually pressing in more chocolate chips and extra cookies.
If you do not care about the presentation, you can skip this step.

These can be stored in an airtight container on the countertop where they will keep for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
These can also be frozen, place in a freezer container or bag and they will keep in the freezer for up to 6 months.
To defrost, remove to the countertop until thawed.
