ContiTech showcased its specialised range of hose products to more than 3,000 food and beverage professionals at Queenland’s FoodTech 2025 held recently held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19–20 June. The event brought together innovators from manufacturing and technology sectors for two days of exhibitions, conferences and networking.

Speaking at the event, Lee Cranswick, ContiTech’s head of distribution for Australia and New Zealand, said, “We’re really excited to be able to talk to the industry experts within the food and beverage game. We want to make sure we’re in front of them, sharing how our products can help maximise uptime and minimise downtime.”

ContiTech presented a variety of industry-specific hoses, each engineered to meet the unique demands of food and beverage processing. These included:

A highlight was the reintroduction of the PureOne hose, designed for potable water. Now tested and compliant with AS/NZS 4020:2018, it meets strict standards for contact with drinking water.

“It’s not a relaunch, but a key opportunity to let our customers and distributors know it’s back on the market and ready for business,” said Cranswick.

ContiTech used its platform at FoodTech to demonstrate more than just product offerings. The company underscored its commitment to helping small businesses and microbreweries facing mounting operational costs and rising tax rates.

“Australia has one of the highest beer tax rates globally. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in right now, it can be tough,” Cranswick noted.

Through its core values, Trust, Freedom to Act, Passion to Win, and For One Another, ContiTech aims to be more than a supplier. It positions itself as a true solutions partner, providing ongoing support and guidance to clients.

“We’re here to talk to the people using our products every day,” Cranswick added. “Their feedback helps us deliver even better solutions and educate others on the benefits of using high-quality equipment.”

Following a successful presence at FoodTech 2025, ContiTech plans to continue its industry engagement at FoodPro 2026, shaping its strategic focus based on the connections and insights gained this year.

“We’ll sit down at the end of 2025 and map out where we’re heading next,” said Cranswick. “FoodPro is another great chance to make an impact with our quality products and dedicated team.”
