Kota Kinabalu: The Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) officially opened at Asia City on Saturday, marking a new chapter in consular services for the region. 

Operated by IVS Global Services under IVS VMS Malaysia, the centre offers a range of services, including passport renewals, visa processing, police clearance and document attestations, providing Indian nationals in Sabah with greater convenience.

The inauguration was officiated by Datuk V. Jothi JP, President of the Sabah Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC), alongside SICC leaders and community figures. 

The ICAC reduces the need for travel to KL to get the papers done.

This opening is seen as a significant step in empowering Indian nationals and reflects the SICC’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and international cooperation.
