Consensus Conference Returning to Hong Kong and Debuting in Miami in 2026

Consensus 2026 is set to expand its global reach with its return to Hong Kong and its debut in Miami. The conference, known as the world's longest-running and most influential crypto event, will build upon its successful sold-out debut in Hong Kong in 2025 and introduce Miami as a new host city.

Consensus Hong Kong 2026, scheduled for February 10–12, will bring together global leaders to foster cross-border innovation and drive collaboration between East and West. The event aims to boost the Hong Kong economy by convening industry experts and facilitating discussions on crypto, AI, and blockchain. Following the success of the 2025 event, which attracted nearly 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries and contributed an estimated HK$275 million to the local economy, the 2026 edition will occupy the largest floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Consensus Miami will debut from May 5–7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The Miami event is strategically positioned in one of the world's leading tech and crypto hubs, serving as a gateway to Latin America. It aims to facilitate consequential conversations and business opportunities, bringing together innovators and leaders from around the world.

Both events will feature programming curated by CoinDesk, including B2B and networking opportunities. The Consensus Hackathon and CoinDesk PitchFest competition will also return, connecting attendees, developers, and startups with influential figures in crypto, blockchain, Web3, and AI.

Michael Lau, Chairman of Consensus, emphasized Hong Kong's status as a leading global FinTech hub and its role as a gateway to Asia. Brad Spies, Managing Director of Consensus, highlighted Miami's potential to supercharge Consensus and advance Web3 in one of the world's most attractive cities.

Consensus by CoinDesk is known for bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore the future of digital assets. Discussions cover key topics such as DeFi, Web3, AI, and the evolving regulatory landscape. CoinDesk, acquired by Bullish Group in November 2023, operates as an independent subsidiary and provides news, insights, and data for the global crypto economy.
