Compile Heart has announced side-scrolling action RPG Magical Librarian Ariana: The Book of Seven Heroes for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals. It will launch this summer in Japan.

Magical Librarian Ariana: The Book of Seven Heroes is led by Aoki Hiroshi, who previously produced games like Rune Factory 5, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Dariusburst, and designed Psychic Force. It follows Ariana, who possesses the special ability to enter books. She uses a unique form of magic called “Librarian Magic.” The game is not designed to be a game in which the player will die frequently, making it accessible and easy for anyone to play.
