Collin Gosselin Is a Business Owner 15 Years After 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' Fame: 'We Filed as an LLC'
is paving his own way, revealing a new business venture and career path 15 years after finding reality TV fame with his family on Jon & Kate Plus 8.
“Today we officially filed as an LLC! Gosselin Pressure Washing LLC is ready to tackle that job that you’ve been needing to get done,” Collin, 20, announced via Instagram on Sunday, March 2. “With the spring season approaching, our goal is to make your home shine, with our pressure washing/soft-wash services.”
“We prioritize beautifying your home so that all you have to do is admire the shine after we are done!” he concluded.
In the comments section, fans were excited to see the TLC alum pursuing business ownership and moving away from the fame he gained as one of and eight children.
“Congratulations on your decision to be a business owner! That’s the path to wealth! I’m a business owner and there’s nothing better than building something for yourself & to serve others!” one follower wrote. Meanwhile, another user added, “All of you are doing great things bit will say you’re the hardest worker in the bunch!”
In response to a fan, Collin confirmed that his new business operates throughout Pennsylvania and potentially in neighboring states.
Collin is best known for his appearances on Jon & Kate Plus 8, where he starred alongside his siblings — twins Madelyn and Cara, as well as fellow sextuplets Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Joel, and Alexis.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 aired on TLC from 2007 to 2009, with the final episode airing shortly after Kate, 49, filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years. After Jon and Kate’s split, the network renamed the series Kate Plus 8, and that wrapped in 2017.
Following their breakup, Kate later admitted that Collin was admitted into an institution to deal with his behavioral issues. The teen eventually moved in with Jon, 47, in 2018, after he was granted full custody.
“I know my mother was going through a lot of things. I mean, a divorce and plenty of different things that can’t be easy to go through,” Collin, said of living with his mother as a child during a rare interview with Vice TV for their series, Dark Side of the 2000s in July 2023. “And, you know, I want to think that she needed someone to take out her anger and her frustration on. And it was just kind of me, you know, I was in the way, and I was there. So, she chose me.”
Collin knew he wasn’t “a perfect child” but felt his “misbehaving was no different from” his other siblings. His institutionalization would later prove to be a major roadblock in his adult life as his “number one” dream of becoming a United States Marine was derailed.
“I was discharged,” he told Entertainment Tonight about how he was let go from the Marines in August 2024. “I was towards the end of training, very close to graduating. The paperwork was looked into, and they found out that I was, in fact, in an institution at one point in my life.”
Collin launched his business shortly after In Touch confirmed that his mom, Kate, renewed her nursing license in North Carolina.
