City’s volatile weather sees scattered rains

Bhopal: Strong wind and showers after a humid day provided marginal relief from the harsh weather in Bhopal on Saturday. Similar weather conditions were expected to prevail in the city, while in parts of the state there was still a warning of heat waves for a few places.The day temperature in Bhopal on Saturday was recorded at 40.2 degrees celsius, two degrees more than the normal mark, while night temperature in the city was 29.0 degrees celsius, three degrees more than the normal mark. The day temperature in Narmadapuram was 45.2 degrees celsius. In the forecast for Bhopal on Sunday the meteorological dept stated there would be partly cloudy sky with chances of thundery development, rain towards evening and night hours.Day and night temperature would be respectively 40 degrees celsius and 28 degrees celsius, while average wind speed will be 20 kilometers per hour.In the forecast for the state the meteorological dept issued a warning of heat wave for Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Datia, Bhind, Morena and Sheopurkalan dists.A possibility of rainfall or drizzle with thunderstorm and lightning was underlined for Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Damoh, Sagar,Khargone and Barwani districts.

In the weather outlook the meteorological dept stated no large change for one day, thereafter gradual fall of temperature by 2 degrees to 3 degrees.
