What in the Julia Fox is going on here? Ciara just stepped out in some of the most mind-bendingly confusing jeans I've ever laid my eyes upon. The singer was spotted in New York City's SoHo neighborhood on her way to film Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen on June 17—and her look was both a Y2K throwback and a futuristic work of art.
Why? Well, she wore a pair of jeans that, quite literally, seemed to defy gravity. Instead of the top half of her jeans, Ciara's legs were bare except for a teeny tiny black miniskirt. The bottom half of her jeans were suspended from her mid-thighs before they pooled on the ground around her black pointed toe shoes. Would we call these denim boots? Jean leg warmers?

Ciara paired the unusual pants with a white T-shirt and an oversized denim blazer. She accessorized with some layered silver chain necklaces and chunky silver rings. She wore her hair down in long tight curls.

Experimental fashion is nothing new for Ciara. Just a week ago, she made an appearance at the 2025 BET Awards where she wore an artful fringed miniskirt with a train by Cong Tri paired with a leather collared shirt that she kept unbuttoned. A couple of weeks before that, she wore a gold silk bubble miniskirt with a matching puffer-style vest. At this year's Met Gala, she wore a gown that was more cutout than dress. And then there were also the 2025 AMAs where she wore a diamond-encrusted leotard held together by chains.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in 2024, Ciara praised her longtime stylist, Marni Senofonte. “She really gets me, which makes things really easy in the process,” she said. “It allows us to have the most creative fun, because we are pretty much always on the same page."
