China - Goodwins-double-double-lands-him-Hoops-Agents-Player-of-the-Week-award
29-year old American shooting guard Brandon Goodwin (188-SG-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Shanxi Loongs and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 42.
He got a double-double of 35 points and 10 assists, while his team beat Qingdao E. (#8, 26-15) 140-131. Loongs maintains the 2nd position in Chinese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shanxi L. will need more victories to improve their 31-10 record. In the team's last game Goodwin had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Loongs's top player in his first season with the team. Florida Gulf Coast University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Goodwin is in league's top in points (6th best: 25.6ppg), assists (4th best: 8.1apg) and averages solid 57.1% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Marcus Georges-Hunt (196-F-1994) of
Sichuan Blue Whales. He is U.S. Virgin Islands-American forward in his first season at Sichuan BW. In the last game Georges-Hunt recorded an impressive double-double of 47 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Blue Whales to edge the higher-ranked Nanjing MK (#12, 20-21) by 4 points 128-124. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Sichuan keeps 18th position. 32 lost games are too many comparing to just nine victories Blue Whales managed to get this year. Georges-Hunt is a newcomer at Sichuan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.Third place about best performers goes to James Thompson IV (208-C/F-1995) of
Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing (#20). Thompson IV scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Thompson IV's great performance the Jiangsu Dragons lost 88-94 to the higher-ranked Liaoning FL (#7, 27-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Jiangsu D. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 6-35 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Thompson IV has individually a great season in China. After 41 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.9rpg (6th best).Other top performing players last week:

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
