In a significant development in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, seven Naxals have surrendered. Sukma SP Kiran G Chava said, “Inspired by the anti-Naxal campaigns being run by the district police and CRPF, 7 Naxals have surrendered (in Sukma district). The cadre of battalion number 1, which we consider (Madvi) Hidma's battalion, has surrendered... Those who have surrendered have been guards or commanders of a big cadre...
