Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided some big Chelsea news early on this Monday bank holiday in the United Kingdom.
The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season yesterday.
The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
Maresca’s side will now be looking to top that off by bringing a trophy home on Wednesday night as they face Real Betis in the final of the Conference League.
To get silverware in his first season managing in the Premier League would mark a great achievement for Maresca and this young Chelsea side.

The man who never sleeps was up at 4am this morning delivering some good news for Chelsea fans!
Fabrizio Romano posted on X:
‘Chelsea will advance in talks to extend Moises Caicedo’s contract in the next months.
‘Plan since March is to open negotiations over new deal for the midfielder and it will happen in the upcoming months, as Chelsea see Caicedo as world class midfielder.’
The midfielder has been absolutely superb all season for Chelsea and has easily been our best and most consistent player – so any new deal in his contract will be fully deserved for the Ecuadorian international.
