Scarlett Johansson and more celebrity parents have welcomed “secret” babies over the years.

Johansson shares daughter Rose, born in 2014, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac and son Cosmo, born in 2021, with husband Colin Jost. She kept her second pregnancy under wraps, though Jost spilled the beans during a comedy show.

 “We’re having a baby,” Jost said in August 2021. "It’s exciting.”

One day later, Us Weekly confirmed that the little one had arrived. Jost subsequently took to Instagram to share that they welcomed a son.

"OK OK we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much,” the Saturday Night Live star captioned an Instagram statement. “Privacy would be greatly appreciated. or all inquiries, please contact our publicist [Michael Che]. #wegotawaywithitforalongtime #nokidspolicy #we'regoingtodisneyland.”

Collins surprised the world when she announced that she and McDowell welcomed their first child via surrogate in January 2025.

“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” the Emily in Paris star wrote via Instagram alongside a snap of her newborn in a bassinet. “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again …”

The Office alum told in October 2020 that she had given birth to a baby boy named Spencer one month prior, saying, "This is news to a lot of people. It's true!" Spencer joined big sister Katherine, who was born in 2017.

Kaling announced in June 2024 that she quietly welcomed her third baby, a daughter named Anne, that February.

The Scream Queens alum took to social media in April 2024 to announce the arrival of her first baby, writing, "To all my fellow mamas out there, Mother’s Day is 3 weeks away. Let’s celebrate the hardest and most rewarding job there is by giving a little sparkle to the mamas in our life…they deserve it 🩷💎✨."

The news came one month after Samuels revealed her marriage on the "Wizards of Waverly Pod" podcast.

The Wonder Woman actress surprised fans via Instagram in March 2024 when she announced the birth of the couple’s fourth baby girl. Gadot did not publicly share any news about her pregnancy.

“My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through,” Gadot captioned a hospital photo holding the newborn. “You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude.” Ori joins sisters Alma, Maya and Daniella.

The Big Bang Theory actor confirmed to Architectural Digest in February 2024 that his wife, Morgan, was pregnant when they shot their March 2024 cover story. The outlet reported that they have since welcomed daughter Oona Evelena.

Bailey and DDG, who have been dating since early 2022, announced in January 2024 that they secretly welcomed their first baby weeks earlier. Neither Bailey nor DDG had previously confirmed the actress’ pregnancy.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote via Instagram on January 6, 2024. “Welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”

Driver and Tucker, who wed in 2013, announced in December 2023 that they had privately welcomed baby No. 2 eight months earlier.

Westbrook, who was largely absent from season 7 of Riverdale, revealed in September 2023 that she welcomed her first child. She shared a photo of her baby boy with the child’s father largely out of the frame.

The iCarly star, who shares two daughters with Moore, announced in June 2023 that the couple expanded their family again.

The Meet the Parents actor secretly welcomed his seventh child, daughter Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro, in April 2023 with partner .

De Niro confirmed the pair welcomed their first baby together the following month, noting it was a “planned” pregnancy.

The duo announced that they were expecting their first two daughters, but the former baseball player and the model's third bundle of joy was kept a secret until the birth announcement in December 2021.

The Shameless alum debuted her baby bump in May 2021, announcing that she and her husband had secretly welcomed a baby girl. Two years later, Rossum revealed via Instagram that the couple added a baby boy to their brood. She shared his birth announcement in April 2023 and once again shared a baby bump pic with her fans.

In March 2023, Us broke the news that the former Disney star gave birth to the pair’s second child, son Carson, the previous winter.

The “Come to Me” musician announced in December 2022 that he secretly welcomed baby No. 7, daughter Love, though he not identify the newborn’s mother at the time.

“I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much,” he wrote via Twitter, referring to his mother and his eldest children. "God is the Greatest!”

The Pitch Perfect star revealed via Instagram in November 2022 that she welcomed her first child, a daughter, via surrogate. "I can't even describe the love I have for her, she's a beautiful miracle!" Wilson gushed at the time, introducing Royce Lillian to her followers. 

The actors secretly welcomed their first child, a source confirmed to Us in October 2022. "Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy," the insider said.

The Pretty Little Liars alum and Hart, who wed in 2019, announced in September 2022 that they had quietly welcomed their first child.

The MTV host announced in August 2022 that she and Kaepernick welcomed their first child. "I thought long and hard about sharing our life changing news today. The Cheetah Girls actress announced in August 2022 that she and her husband welcomed a son via surrogate. "We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything," she gushed via Instagram, sharing the first photo of baby Ever.

While the actress didn’t announce her second child’s arrival publicly, a source confirmed to Us in July that she welcomed baby No. 2.

Us Weekly confirmed on August 2020 that the American Horror Story alum secretly welcomed her second child with boyfriend Hamish Linklater in June. She once again surprised fans when her Father's Day 2022 post via Instagram revealed that she gave birth to a third child earlier that year.

In June 2022, Us exclusively confirmed that Katic and Brkljac quietly welcomed their first child. "They had a baby this winter and have been enjoying the time since cocooning as a family," a rep for the Castle alum revealed at the time.

The Arrow alum and Jean, who share daughter Maverick, reportedly welcomed their second child in May 2022.

The actor’s Life & Beth costar Amy Schumer revealed in March 2022 that he and wife Nadine quietly welcomed their first child. “Michael has a baby too,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Is that public knowledge? … I just outed him. I just outed his baby.”

Us exclusively revealed in December 2021 that the Sister, Sister alum’s first child, daughter Zara, had arrived after the couple kept Dickey’s pregnancy under wraps.

The Late Night With Seth Meyers host told his viewers in November 2021 that he and his wife had welcomed “another one” after keeping Ashe’s pregnancy under wraps.

The actors never made a pregnancy announcement, so fans were shocked when the new dad posted a video of himself holding twins in October 2021. “We got double the trouble now @jamiejchung 👶🏻👶🏻,” Greenberg captioned the video. Chung, his wife since 2015, responded with two heart emojis.

Knox and her husband announced the arrival of their first child, Eureka Muse Knox-Robinson, in October 2021. The Waiting to Be Heard author confirmed the news during an interview with the New York Times, published earlier that day. 

“I will say I’m excited to not have to keep pretending not to be a mom,” she told the outlet. “[Because] it’s like, my brain is just there.”

The couple revealed they had welcomed "sweet little Iris" in August 2021, sharing the first photo of their child and throwbacks of VanCamp while she was pregnant.

Five months after she gave birth to Eduardo, the Living Clearly Method author announced via Instagram that she and the actor had welcomed their sixth child together, his seventh. "7," Hilaria captioned the March 2021 family photo.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Entienne, in February 2021 amid the actor’s divorce from .
