debuted a piece from Vertigineux collection— haute couture debut for the house. Considering Charlotte’s dress was oozing with predictable romanticism, this black velvet gown with taffeta ruffles and ivory organdy cuffs offered a fresh perspective. That said, I can’t help but wish someone with a more gothic persuasion—Rooney Mara, perhaps—had worn this. It needed someone with a moodier presence to really sell the drama. Do you agree?
