Captain America 4 vs Superman TV Spot: Harrison Ford's Red Hulk Might Just Have Helped MCU Beat DCU in This Battle
With Captain America 4 and Superman nearing their release dates, both MCU and DCU are gearing up for a battle to remember. The upcoming releases are not only two of the most anticipated movies of the year, but they are also supposed to begin a new era for both studios.

In short, the success or failure of Captain America 4 and Superman might very well determine how the next few years would look for both MCU and DCU. As such, the hype around both of them has been off the charts from the get-go.
However, the said hype has come with exciting new TV spots that feature some intriguing fresh clips from the movies. Inevitably, the internet went crazy with these surprising new teasers, and it has now given rise to a battle of the TV spots.
Marvel’s long-anticipated Captain America 4 is releasing at the theaters on February 14th, 2025. Not too long after, on July 11th, DC’s ambitious Superman will fly into the theaters. As such, promotions are also reaching new levels of innovativeness as the release dates draw nearer. In light of that, both DC and Marvel have launched new TV spots for the upcoming movies to increase the hype some more.

The new clips featured in those teasers are also meant to entice the fans into buying the tickets when they become available. While both studio giants have had some successful projects in the past couple of years, they have yet to produce anything that breaks the box office in recent years.
Deadpool & Wolverine, though, became a boon for the MCU, and James Gunn‘s first DC project since taking over as director, Creature Commandos, gained overwhelming praise from critics and audiences alike. As such, both Marvel and DC fans have been looking forward to Anthony Mackie’s Captain America 4 and David Corenswet’s Superman to get a feel for how this new era of both studios would look like.
While the trailers for both have garnered tremendous acclamation from the fan base, some still had doubts. With each new promotional content releasing, though, the doubts have been decreasing, and the reaction to the new TV spot teasers are a testament to that.
As stated above, fans of both studios have been living their best life since the trailers arrived on screen with sneak peaks from the movies. Both trailers featured surprises of their own in terms of what the audience can expect from the upcoming releases.

While Superman will debut the Kryptonian superhero’s loyal companion Krypto, Captain America 4 is set to introduce Harrison Ford as Red Hulk for the first time. As such, for people who love superhero movies, this year is looking more and more promising with each day.
Even so, the question arises as to who will emerge as the victor in this battle of the movie. For now, it seems like Ford’s inclusion is helping Captain America: Brave New World Hulk-out ahead of Superman. Many think that the new TV spot teaser has done wonders to build up said hype.

Literally starts with another gorgeous shot I love. I also saw a Peloton ad that had a new clip of Sam running in a ship corridor.

While Superman, too, is flying at full speed, fans have noticed a few issues in the TV advert. However, they seem hopeful that by the time the movie releases, those issues will be long forgotten.

I do not know why anyone thought it was okay to use that last shot. Please do NOT put it in the Super Bowl trailer

Captain America 4 and Superman, both movies have managed to rile fans up to the max in anticipating their release. While Sam Wilson’s first appearance as “Cap” is imminent, fans have to wait a little longer to watch Corenswet don the Superman suit.
It is important to remember that both movies and the stars have faced criticisms in the past that they have mostly overcome as more details came out. Although it’s hard to say how the final outcome would look like, as of now, it seems like both movies have the potential to become the biggest hits of the year.
Captain America: Brave New World Superman will arrive at the theaters on July 11th, 2025.
