Clark confirmed she likely sustained the injury early in that match, though she could not identify the exact moment. On June 13, the Fever announced her return to the court.



The New York Liberty are currently unbeaten in their last nine games. In their previous game on June 10, they secured a win over the Chicago Sky with a score of 85-66. Sabrina Ionescu scored 23 points and had seven assists. Breanna Stewart added 18 points, seven defensive rebounds, and five assists. The Liberty have shown strong teamwork throughout the season.The Liberty started with a slight edge, leading 26-24 after the first quarter. Ionescu led their scoring with seven points. Nyara Sabally added six points. Caitlin Clark made an impact in her return, scoring 14 points in the opening quarter. She also hit back-to-back three-pointers, helping reduce the Liberty's early lead.

The game between the Fever and the Liberty is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It will count for both regular season standings and the Commissioner’s Cup.
