CAF African Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman Visits Governor Sanwo-Olu in Lagos

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday evening welcomed Nigerian football star and 2024 CAF African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, at the Lagos House in Marina, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Lookman, a forward for Italian Serie A club Atalanta, paid a courtesy visit to the governor, accompanied by his father and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Mr. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka.
During the visit, the footballer formally presented his Confederation of African Football (CAF) Player of the Year award to Governor Sanwo-Olu in a symbolic gesture celebrating both personal achievement and national pride.
The governor commended Lookman for his historic performance and exemplary representation of Nigeria on the international stage, particularly highlighting his heroics at both the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and in European club competitions.
