Book details global slave trade across Atlantic Ocean
NEW YORK (PIX11) — It is estimated that 500 to 100,000 slave ships crashed at the height of the transatlantic trade, and with it, the lives of more than a million people were lost.
Over the last few years however, divers have been exploring those shipwrecks in hopes of salvaging the stories of those lost at sea.
