Bilt Rent Day (April 1): Up to 100% Avios transfer bonus, up to 100% bonus on Lyft redemptions and more
Like on previous Bilt Rent Days, you can snag double points for nonrent purchases and play the "Rent Free" game. But this month, Bilt will also offer a status-based transfer bonus to three airlines that use Avios as their loyalty currency: British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus. You can also book dining experiences in eight cities, comedy experiences in two new cities and Barry's fitness classes in five new studios ahead of this Rent Day.
Here's what you need to know about the April Bilt Rent Day promotions.
You can enjoy a status-based transfer bonus to British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia Avios this Rent Day.
Normally, you can transfer Bilt Rewards Points to Avios via these three programs at a 1:1 ratio. But from April 1 at midnight EDT to April 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT, Bilt members get the following status-based transfer bonus when transferring Bilt points to Avios:
This bonus temporarily increases the transfer ratio to 1:1.5 for Bilt Blue members, 1:1.6 for Silver members, 1:1.75 for Gold members and 1:2 for Platinum members.
This transfer bonus can be worth utilizing to book an upcoming award flight with Avios. Remember, it's easy to transfer Avios between the programs that use Avios as their loyalty currency.
So, you could use this transfer bonus to not only earn British Airways Avios, Aer Lingus Avios and Iberia Avios but also to earn Qatar Avios — currently one of the best ways to book Qatar Qsuite award flights. After all, there's usually more Qsuite availability through Avios than through American AAdvantage (and other Oneworld programs).

In mid-March, Bilt introduced the ability to redeem Bilt points for Lyft rides at 0.7 cents per point after you link your Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts. Now, for April Rent Day, Bilt is offering a status-based redemption bonus when you redeem Bilt points for Lyft rides between March 26 at 9 a.m. EDT and April 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT. Specifically, Blue and Silver members can enjoy a 50% redemption bonus and Gold and Platinum members get a 100% redemption bonus.
You'll see the updated redemption rate if you pay with Bilt points in the Lyft app during this promotion. However, know that Blue and Silver members will only be getting 1.05 cents per point, and Gold and Platinum members will get 1.4 cents per point during this redemption bonus. Both redemption rates are much lower than 2.05 cents per point, which is the estimated value you can get when redeeming Bilt points, according to TPG's March 2025 valuations.
Bilt opened a Neighborhood Cafe in New York City's NoHo neighborhood at 31 Bond St.
To celebrate April Rent Day, Bilt members who come to the cafe and verify their membership can enjoy a complimentary coffee and surprise while supplies last.
As on previous Bilt Rent Days, you'll earn double points from April 1 at midnight EDT to April 2 at 2:59 a.m. EDT when you use your Bilt Mastercard® (see rates and fees) to make nonrent purchases. You'll earn as follows for purchases each Rent Day:
You must use the card five times per statement period to earn points (see rewards and benefits). However, you can only earn up to 1,000 bonus points on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard each Rent Day.
In August 2023, Bilt launched a new way to win free rent for a month (up to $2,500): the "Rent Free" game show. Bilt has since offered the "Rent Free" game show each Rent Day, with a new creator or personality playing each month. This month, the guest is comedian Chris Distefano.
You'll earn points when you pick a top-three answer, when you correctly rank that answer and when the celebrity guest picks the same answer as you. You can visit the Bilt app to play the game until April 1 at 3 p.m. EDT. Then, return to the app after April 1 at 4 p.m. EDT to see your score.
The 10 top-scoring players will win free rent for a month (up to $2,500), and the next 1,000 top-scoring members will earn Bilt points. If you tie with another Bilt member, the tie will be broken based on who played the game first.
Bilt continues offering its members complimentary Rent Day classes at select SoulCycle and Barry's studios. These classes often sell out within minutes; booking opens on March 27 at 10:50 a.m. EDT for Gold and Platinum members and at 11 a.m. EDT for other members.
Bilt also continues its neighborhood dining series at 18 venues across eight cities in April. The cities with experiences in April include Atlanta; Cambridge, Massachusetts; Charlotte; Dallas; Houston; Miami; New York City; and Washington, D.C.
Booking opens for this series on March 27, with Gold and Platinum members getting access at 11:50 a.m. EDT and others getting access at noon EDT. Be sure to book soon, though, as booking closes March 31 at noon EDT.
Bilt is continuing its Neighborhood Comedy series in April, with shows at 11 venues across seven cities. The Neighborhood Comedy series allows Bilt members to enjoy exclusive access to comedy shows in New York City, Boston, Miami, Dallas, Nashville, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
Reservations for these experiences open within the Bilt app and website on March 27 at 11:50 a.m. EDT for Gold and Platinum members and at noon EDT for other members. Booking closes at noon EDT on March 31, so be sure to book soon if you want to attend a show.

For April Rent Day, Bilt is offering a status-based transfer bonus of up to 100% to three Avios programs and a bonus of up to 100% when redeeming points for Lyft rides.
