Best July Fourth Appliance Sales - Consumer Reports
July Fourth is one of the best times of year to score a low price on a new appliance. There are deals and discounts on top models in almost every category, whether you’re in the market for a new washer and dryer or you’ve been thinking about upgrading that old electric range to an induction cooktop.
In recent weeks and months, many shoppers have had concerns over tariffs affecting prices. And we did see some ripple effects, as sale prices increased anywhere from $50 to $200 on certain (but not all) models. I’m happy to report that for July Fourth, sale prices have remained steady overall compared to Memorial Day. A few models have gotten a little bit more expensive, but others have gotten a little cheaper.
