Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has once again spoken passionately of what he intends to achieve in Kenya.
It has been slightly over a month since the South African was appointed to oversee the men's national team on a two-year contract.

McCarthy has already taken charge of two games in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and although he is yet to win, the team showed a lot of promise.
Kenya came from behind to draw with the Gambia 3-3 before losing to Gabon 2-1 on home soil, severely affecting their World Cup qualification chances.
The former forwards' coach at Manchester United has been in Kenya since his appointment, regularly making appearances at local games as he continues to settle into his new role.
There was a buzz over his appointment as he was arguably the most-travelled and most-decorated coach Harambee Stars has ever hired. He has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world under renowned coaches, winning some of the biggest prizes.
Appearing on an interview on NTV on Monday evening, the 47-year-old revealed he was open to helping some of his players secure moves to clubs abroad, provided they showed they have what it takes.
McCarthy opined that he could easily use his connections to recommend the players to some of his former clubs or the friends he knows. He namedropped Nuno Espirito Santos, who is currently the manager of Nottingham Forest.
"It will cost me nothing to pick up the phone and recommend a couple of players," said McCarthy. "For example, I can call Nottingham Forest because I know the manager, Nuno. We were good friends when we played together at Porto."

"He is a good coach in reviving players' careers, like Anthony Elanga who wasn't very happy at Manchester United, but now he is one of the top players in the league. So it will cost me nothing to tell Nuno I have Marcelo (Eric Ouma). He is on fire and I think this is a player who can thrive under you."
The former Blackburn Rovers striker explained that such recommendations would help the team but he also emphasised he needed to settle well first.
"I have thought about but I would like for us to settle first and find our feet first. I can give them a call and give them a name so that they can do more research. If that happens, it is going to be amazing for my team because we are going to have one of our players playing for a top club in Europe."
While Kenya's talent remains unquestioned, many players have failed to break the barrier of playing for top clubs or top leagues. France-based Joseph Okumu is the only player in Europe's top five leagues at the moment.
Marcelo is one player who has attracted the attention of many clubs before. Currently attached to Polish side Rakow, the marauding fullback has in the past been linked with a move to top European clubs.
Timothy Ouma was linked with moves to Brentford and Luton Town before he was snapped up by Czech giants Slavia Prague.
has also reported that McCarthy has addressed the allegations surrounding Patrick Matasi.
The longtime Harambee Stars goalkeeper was implicated in an alleged match-fixing scandal.
The Kakamega Homeboyz goalkeeper has since been suspended as the Football Kenya Federation conducts an investigation.
