HASSAN: Due to landslide near Marehanalli on Bengaluru-Mangaluru national highway, the district administration banned vehicle movement on Shiradi ghat road.This national highway 75 is the vital route which connects Mangaluru, the coastal city with Bengaluru. According to an order issued by DC Lata Kumari, the vehicle from Bengaluru to Mangaluru are directed via Bengaluru-Hassan- Beluru-Charmadi Ghat.

The vehicle from Mangaluru to Bengaluru are advised to use either Sampaje road or Charmadi ghat road.Meanwhile, the malnad region is witnessing heavy downpour.
