According to him, he was at Central Police Station when all hell broke loose and the next thing he saw was the damage caused to his phone.
He apologised to those who were following his updates, saying it would be difficult to continue recording.
He shared his number, adding that he knew he would receive insults, but he would still share.
Ademba also disclosed that the number of protesters who had flocked the police station had been pushed back to the CBD.
"I don't know what I will do but simu imevunjwa sorry. For anyone alikuwa anategemea hii I'm sorry. I know mtanitusi but mimi naweka number, if you can help me repair ni sawa or If I can buy a new one," he said.
While some questioned him for asking for money while doubting his story, others felt sorry for him and even promised to help him get a new one.

In other demo news, a man left many stunned after he was spotted hiding inside a dustbin in Nairobi CBD.
The man, fearing the chaos, went inside a dustbin and held a lit candle in his hand as he commemorated those lost during the 20204 Anti-Finance Bill protests.
Questioned why he decided to take that step, he noted that he was afraid of the chaos and had to seek refuge.
He also urged Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja to ensure that goons don't step into the CBD as they would be attacked mercilessly by protesters.
