Defending champion Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) confirmed in their roster 29-year old Spanish-Dominican Rep. ex-international power forward Tyson Perez (202cm-1996) for season 2025-26. He played there last season. In 34 Liga Endesa games he recorded 7.4ppg and 4.9rpg. He helped them to win Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey) last season. Perez also played 15 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 8.5ppg and 5.3rpg. He contributed to his team winning the Basketball Champions League championship. The previous (2023-24) season he played at another Spanish team MoraBanc Andorra. Perez was a member of Spanish Senior National Team between 2020 and 2023.
He has played previously for five other teams: BAXI Manresa, Real Betis, Casvi, Real Canoe, and Betanzos.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention in 2023.
