Ridvan Oncel

Galatasaray Ekmas Istanbul (BSL) added to their roster 28-year old ex-international guard Ridvan Oncel (191cm-1997) for new 2025-26 season. It is actually his comeback to Galatasaray as he has played here before. Oncel has played for the last two seasons at Anadolu Efes (BSL). In 29 games he recorded 4.0ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.5apg last season. He helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. Oncel also played 2 games in Euroleague where he averaged just 2.0ppg.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at Darussafaka Lassa. In 11 BSL games he had 9.0ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.7apg in that year. He contributed to his team winning the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. Oncel also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 5.4ppg, 1.4rpg and 3.4apg in that year.
He was a member of Turkish international program for some years. Oncel was called to Turkish Senior National Team back in 2018 and previously for U20 National Team in 2017.
He has played previously for four other teams: Turk Telekom, Bandirma, TEKSUT Bandirma BK and Bahcesehir.
