The siblings from each of the wives joined hands to elevate their parents' living conditions in a powerful symbol of harmony that saw them build two nearly identical bungalows in the homestead.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, one of the siblings who led the family project, Josephat Cheruiyot, revealed that he and his other 12 siblings wanted to appreciate their father and two mums for raising them with love and immense support.

Josephat, who is popularly known as Jose Jose, said that their father hustled tooth and nail to raise 13 of them despite having no job.

He revealed that the father treated them equally without showing any bias that would typically exist in a polygamous set-up.

"He raised us from primary to university and did not do any fundraising, yet he was unemployed," he narrated.

The love and harmony that the siblings were raised with manifested in their adulthood after joining hands and resources to build not one, but two houses so that everyone of their mothers has a place to call her own.

On Saturday, May 31, the siblings threw a lovely housewarming party as their parents received the lavish bungalows.

The ceremony brought Keon village in Baringo South to a standstill, as the locals celebrated with the polygamous family the official opening of the two bungalows.

"The event drew thousands of people, all touched by the rare harmony between us siblings from both wives. In a society where polygamy often brings division, our family chooses unity, respect, and gratitude," he said.

In the lovely photos that Josephat shared exclusively with TUKO.co.ke, the two new bungalows were spotted adjacent to each other, nestled in the beautiful greenery of Baringo county.

They were built with a similar design, with the roof colours being a bit different, to reflect the likes of the two mums.

During the housewarming party, a tent was put up in the periphery of the two homes for the community members to sit and witness the beautiful occasion.

Besides the houses, the siblings also gifted their parents fancy furniture and appliances.

"Many were touched by the unity of children born out of a polygamous father. It was a beautiful event," he said.
