Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza refused to talk about her ex-boyfriend actor Jak Roberto.

Barbie and Jak had been together as a couple for seven years. Their fans anticipated they would go to the next level of their relationship. Even though Barbie has an onscreen partnership with actor David Licauco, Jak was admired by many for his “anti-selos” approach.

However, Barbie surprised many JakBie fans when a few days after 2025 started, she posted a breakup announcement. The actress highlighted the good memories she had with Jak despite the separation. She said that seven years with Jak was wonderful but sometimes, things fall apart.

Barbie Forteza also did not say anything negative about her ex-boyfriend even in interviews. However, in spite of that, some speculations still surfaced as some netizens accused Jak Roberto of cheating.

In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Barbie was asked about her ex-boyfriend but she refused to talk about him.

When asked if she has moved on from her past relationship, she answered, “I am very happy.” Then she apologized because she would not entertain questions about Jak.

“I’m so sorry, but I prefer not to talk about it to respect the relationship,” the Kapuso Primetime Princess said.

After her breakup with Jak, fans could not help but ship her with David, her loveteam partner in several projects. Together, they are known as the BarDa tandem.

Meanwhile, Barbie Forteza has a new series Beauty Empire with Kyline Alcantara, Sam Concepcion, and Ruffa Gutierrez. This project is co-produced by GMA Network, Viu Philippines, and CreaZion Studios.

Beauty Empire aired its pilot episode on Viu last June 16. This will premiere on GMA on July 7.
