The Houston Astros had several players named to the MLB All-Star Game this year, including RHP Hunter Brown and SS Jeremy Peña who are making their All-Star debut, while LHP Josh Hader will return for the sixth time.
The Astros have now had three or more All-Star selections every season since 2017. Their 36 All-Star selections since 2017 are more than any other AL club in that span.
While Framber Valdez did not make the list, there is a chance he gets named as an alternate as several All-Star pitchers are slated to start next weekend and may not be available for the All-Star Game.
