Arkham Launches New Tag to Track Crypto Influencers' Wallets

Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics firm, has introduced a novel tagging system designed to monitor cryptocurrency transactions associated with prominent figures in the crypto industry. Announced via a post on X, the feature identifies individuals with over 100,000 followers on the platform, categorizing them as "key opinion leaders" (KOLs) and linking their respective wallet addresses.
The new tagging system currently encompasses 950 addresses. Notable individuals included in the initial rollout are Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun, Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao, Yearn Finance and Sonic Labs co-founder Andre Cronje, and even former U.S. President Donald Trump. The system provides a transparent view into the blockchain activities of these influential figures.
As of March 8, 2025, Arkham Intelligence's platform lists these 950+ addresses connected to high-profile crypto personalities, marking a significant step towards greater transparency in the cryptocurrency space. The implications of this tracking system remain to be seen, but it offers a new tool for observing the behavior of key players within the digital asset ecosystem.
