Inflation for the month of April slowed marginally to 21.2 percent from 22.4 percent in March.

The drop was largely influenced by decline in food and non-food inflation compared to the same period for last year.

Speaking at News Conference in Accra today,  new Government statistician Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu noted that this is the five consecutive decline in the  inflation rate  for this year.
