APC Chieftain Woos AMAC Chair Maikalangu To Party
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and immediate past Supervisory Councillor for Finance, Budget and Investment in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Gabriel Bravo Oluohu, has urged the AMAC Chairman, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, to decamp to the ruling party to ensure the betterment and development of the council.
In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, Tuesday, Oluohu said the APC needs Maikalangu’s leadership and unifying force to resolve the lingering crisis within the party in AMAC and to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
He praised Maikalangu’s developmental strategies and human capital development, citing his past achievements as evidence of his capacity to deliver.
The former AMAC official emphasised that Maikalangu’s relationship with people across political parties makes him a valuable asset to the APC.
He described Maikalangu as “a movement already” and urged him to join the APC within the next two weeks.
He expressed gratitude to the party leaders for setting up a reconciliation committee in APC and called on all party members to cooperate with the committee for the betterment of the party in the FCT.
“Maikalangu is a man who has befriended a canoe man in the dry season and a canoe man is supposed to carry him across the river during the rainy season. We need Hon. Maikalangu in APC and he also needs APC to navigate to success at this critical time,” he said.
