Actress Annie Idibia has expressed joy as her daughter second Olivia, whom she shares with music star Innocent 2Baba, graduated from junior secondary school.

The proud mother shared videos of the 10-year-old’s graduation ceremony on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

The video showcased memorable moments, including a touching embrace between mother and daughter, capturing their close bond.

The celebration comes a day after 2Baba publicly apologised following backlash over his comment about men and monogamy.

In a recent podcast appearance, the singer claimed that men were not “wired” to be sexually faithful to one woman.

“A man can love a woman with all his heart, but maybe he’s somewhere, his d**k would just decide something else,” he said.

The statement sparked criticism on social media, prompting 2Baba to post an apology video on Instagram.

“I fu*ked up with the way I said it. I’m going to pay the price. I’m going to face the consequences. I meant to make people understand me better, but I said it wrongly. I own up to my mistake,” he said.

He went on to apologise to law maker Natasha Osawaru, his children and the mothers of his children.

“I’m sorry to my wife, Natasha. She’s an amazing person. I’m so sorry. I don’t want to ever make her feel that way again. I’m sorry to my kids. They’re beautiful and I don’t deserve what I’ve put them through.”

Annie and 2Baba, got married in 2012 and share two daughters, Isabel and Olivia. 2Baba also has five other children from previous relationships with Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Adeoye.
