Andam Prize 2025: Emerging Fashion Talents Rewarded

The Belgian designer took home the Grand Prix and the €300,000 prize

Last night, the thirty-three members of the jury gathered at IFM Paris to decide the fate of the of this year’s edition. A fate that will be transformed for the big and small winners of the competition, who received not only significant financial support but also important visibility and mentorship from leading industry figures. These are essential advantages in an era where are blossoming one after another, increasingly numerous and eager to carve out a place in a tightly packed industry facing hard times and struggling to regain its former glory amid a persistent luxury crisis. In this difficult context, fashion prizes and major competitions serve as unparalleled springboards for young designers seeking recognition. However, the big winner of the Andam 2025 seems to have no trouble overcoming these obstacles: after being a finalist at the Woolmark Prize in 2025, named Designer of the Year at the Belgian Fashion Awards in 2024, and a semi-finalist at the LVMH Prize in 2022, Belgian designer won the last night. In addition to the promised , the designer will benefit, along with her French colleague , winner of the and , from the mentorship of Sidney Toledano, President of IFM and Advisor to the President of LVMH, for one year. A well-deserved victory for both the Belgian and the Frenchman, who has also consistently demonstrated craftsmanship and creativity, notably as one of the eight finalists of the LVMH Prize 2025.

Still on the French side with some Turkish inspiration, , finalist of the LVMH Prize 2023, won the , and also received a sum of , as well as support from Ami Paris founder and creative director , who will help the young designer structure his brand and ensure its international development by offering privileged advice on product development, commercial and digital strategies. But clothing was not the only focus of attention—accessories also had their moment of glory, particularly those by , winner of the , who also received along with one year of mentorship and personalized advice from , artistic director of the Longchamp house. Selected by a committee of fashion and innovation experts, the worth €100,000 was awarded to , a French start-up that helps brands and companies create circular textile products through an industrialized, flexible, and tailor-made upcycling solution, allowing transformation of any finished textile product (clothing, sheets, tarpaulins, curtains) into ready-to-assemble components. For the first time, the expert committee also awarded a to , a French technology developed by the start-up , which revolutionizes textile quality control through self-supervised AI while generating digital twins of the fabric usable at every stage of production.

A diverse for the Andam Prize, which once again brings emerging talents to the forefront of fashion, both in France and internationally. “France is the very embodiment of fashion in the world, and the challenge is to continue writing its story by supporting young creation. France is a land of unparalleled opportunity and inspiration. Our country has seen the birth of the greatest designers, and I have launched a series of initiatives to support future talents.
