Amitabh Bachchan's Jalsa To Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat: Inside Celebrity Homes
If there is one place in India that is as popular as a royal palace, it is Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat. His and Gauri Khan’s sea-facing six-floor villa is located in Bandra, Mumbai. He purchased the 27,000-square-foot 1920s-era, Grade III heritage bungalow from the Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust back in 2001 for Rs 13 crore, and today, its value is estimated to be somewhere around Rs 200 crore. The property has been refurbished by Gauri with contemporary interiors and has facilities like entertainment rooms, a gymnasium and a library.
Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, divide their time between their homes in Delhi, Mumbai and London. Their Delhi residence, located in the posh area of Prithviraj Road, is spread across 28,530 square feet and costs nearly Rs 173 crore. The couple’s home is an example of modern minimalism, adorned with hand-picked art and aesthetic furniture.
Saif Ali Khan is the inheritor of Iftikhar Ali Khan, the last ruling Nawab of Pataudi’s palace, also known as Ibrahim Kothi. It is located in Gurgaon, Haryana. Valued at Rs 800 crore, the regal property is spread across 10 acres and features around 150 rooms. The Pataudi Palace features vintage chandeliers, antique furniture, priceless artwork, and walls adorned with family portraits.
Located in Bandra, Mumbai, Ranbir and Alia’s six-storey mansion, named the Krishna Raj Bungalow after his late grandmother, costs around Rs 250 crore. The property holds deep sentimental values as it was originally owned by Ranbir’s grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor, and later was inherited by his late father, Rishi Kapoor and mother Neetu Kapoor. The construction work for the bungalow is almost done, and the couple, along with their daughter, Raha, might soon start living there.
