Amazon tractor-trailer loses control on I-15, blocks lanes
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — With Thursday morning rain dampening roads across the region, a traffic delay was reported early on Interstate 15, where an Amazon tractor-trailer reportedly lost control and rolled down an embankment into a tree.
That’s according to as SigAlert issued by California Highway Patrol just after 1 a.m., noting that the crash occurred on northbound I-15 before Interstate 8 in the Mission Valley area. A map of the crash site can be seen below:

At 2:13 a.m., Caltrans San Diego announced that all lanes northbound I-15 lanes were blocked in the incident area, south of I-8. That later reduced two the two right lanes, causing traffic delays for morning commuters.
In an update at 7:29 a.m., traffic officials said all lanes have since reopened.
It’s unknown at this time if anyone was injured in this crash.
