Amazon has cut the price of an 'impressive' smartwatch that has garnered customer praise for its "exceptional battery life."

Ahead of Prime Day 2025, set to run from July 8 to 11, the online giant is offering discounts on a wide range of products.

Prime members can enjoy a significant reduction on the Soudorv Smart Watch, with its price tumbling from £199.99 to a mere £39.99. The device features Bluetooth calling, continuous heart rate and sleep tracking, smart notifications, and various activity trackers.

The watch also includes a pedometer, over 130 sports modes, an alarm clock, stopwatch, and timer, as well as music and camera controls, weather updates, and sedentary reminders.

Boasting a 1.43in AMOLED display, Amazon's product description draws attention to the screen's "vibrant visuals with enhanced resolution," as reported by the Daily Record. The watch can be synced with the FitCloudPro app, which provides access to over 250 dial designs or allows users to customise the face with personal photos, reports Glasgow Live.

For those looking at other options, Selfridges is selling the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 smartwatch for £59, while Currys has the FITBIT Versa 4 Smart Watch in Waterfall Blue and Platinum priced at £179. H.Samuel offers the Reflex Active Series 42 Amoled Ultra Slim for £65.

The Soudorv Smart Watch has gained an impressive 4.8-star rating online, with numerous reviewers expressing their satisfaction. One customer praised: "The build quality of this smart watch is quite exceptional. I love the large screen, which is not only bright, but also very smooth and has fast response.

"The connection was easy and straightforward. So far, the data is accurate especially the steps counter. The battery life is commendable. On fully charged, it can go for eight days on moderate usage. Overall, it's a great watch for the price."

Another reviewer chimed in, saying: "For the price, this smartwatch is actually pretty impressive. It connects easily to both Android and iPhone, and I love that I can make and answer calls right from my wrist - super convenient when my phone's buried in my bag.

"It tracks steps, workouts, and sleep well enough for everyday use, and the screen is a nice size: not too big, not too small. It's not a high-end smartwatch, but if you're looking for something affordable that covers the basics and looks good doing it, this is a solid pick."

They did, however, mention a minor issue, stating: "I have one issue with it, when away from my phone for more that 10 minutes it doesn't automatically reconnect, annoying, but I can live with it, hopefully the developer will fix that with a firmware update."

A shopper with mixed feelings stated: "Not a bad watch for its price 40$, it's a pity there is no always on display and in rare cases the screen may not light up when you raise your hand somewhere one out of 15 times."

They also encountered problems with an advertised feature, observing, "There is also a camera icon here, but when you press it, nothing happens except vibration. Maybe it will work with some Android, but it doesn't work on an iPhone. It's perfect for a gift."

Nonetheless, many were still full of compliments for the watch. A satisfied customer remarked: "I like this watch as it looks more like a normal watch, but has all the features of a smart watch. Battery life is the most exceptional thing about it, I wore it 24 hours a day and the battery lasted FIFTEEN DAYS."

Appreciative of its customisability, they added, "I also like that there is a second configurable button on the side, two different options can be set for short or long press. The smart options cover everything you need, and lots I don't need."

Another buyer expressed delight with the product: "Received this on April 30, it's now May 6 and the battery is on 82 per cent. I can't believe how long it has lasted! The watch looks good and has so many features - I particularly like the option to make my phone ring when I can't find it."

The same user praised additional functionalities: "There are many different sport activities to track and the sleep tracker is really useful. I also like the cool choice of faces that come preinstalled. By far the best smart watch I have owned. I would seriously pay three times the listed price for this item, it really is that good."
