LAUSANNE (Switzerland) - The FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup assist record of Thiago Sucatzky lasted just over 24 hours.

Only one day after Argentina's point guard set a new mark with 15 assists, China's Yi Yang raised the bar again - and did it with perfection. The Chinese point guard dished out 17 assists with zero turnovers in a 97-78 victory over Jordan in Classification 13-16 action, rewriting the record books with a historic performance.
