The aircraft crashed into the BJ Medical College and Hospital in Ahmedabad and exploded into flames.

The plane was headed for London’s Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom with 242 people on board, and only one survived the crash.

The owners of Air India, the Tata Group, mentioned that they would pay (Rs 1 crore) 10 million rupees to the families of the victims of the tragic plane crash.

As reported by the Times of India, Falguni reacted to the amount, offering double to the airline if they could bring back her father.

Falguni, like other families, was at the BJ Medical College to give her blood samples to help in identifying her father’s remains.

Emotions ran high as many were seen breaking down or sitting still, trying to process the loss.

While waiting to give her blood sample, she offered to pay double the compensation fee if she could get her father back.

She stated that her mother was sick and needed her father, who always liked travelling with Air India.

She said:

"Can the compensation ever bring back my father? My mother is sick, and she needs my father. I need his love and affection. I will pay Rs 2 crore to them if they can bring back my father, who always preferred travelling Air India."

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man tragically mourned his newlywed wife, who boarded the Air India plane which crashed after takeoff.

The woman's husband shared their last conversation and had been unable to cry after hearing of his wife’s death.

The couple married in 2024 and had many possibilities and a new life ahead of them, which were cut short by the tragic Air India plane crash.
