Adam Levine becomes the last coach on The Voice to fill his team; here's who he chose as his final contestant

Adam Levine has finally got himself a

country artist

!
On Monday, March 3, Levine was the final coach with a seat available on his

The Voice

squad, and he filled it with a 17-year-old country singer.
Trevon Dawson

sang Bailey Zimmerman's "Religiously" at his

blind audition

, and coach

Kelsea Ballerini

immediately told the

Maroon 5

frontman to turn his chair.
After Dawson's performance, which Levine, 45, turned for, coach

Michael Bublé

sprang out of his chair and hugged him.

"Dude, if that's how you sound when you're a little nervous, this dude just got a massive score," said Bublé, 49.
"Jackpot!" Ballerini, 31, continued.
Dawson then summoned his mother, father, and sister to the platform, and Bublé stated that he was "so happy for you and so miserable for me."
"All I have to say is, 'Damn you, Adam,'" the "Home" singer added.
John Legend, who was the first to join his team, informed Dawson that he enjoyed the "shred" in his voice. "It's not natural," the "All of Me" singer explained.
When it was her chance to talk, the "Heartfirst" singer opened up to the competitor.
"Well, hey, cowboy," she said. "You may have achieved the highest stakes performance because our teams are full. There is only one spot available for this season, and Adam is tough since Blake [Shelton] has broken his heart repeatedly."
"That's a long time of enjoying a genre that you don't get to do because of Blake... "I believe he has a lot to work through, but perhaps this is fate," Ballerini added.
Levine delivered the final word, complimenting Dawson on his voice, which "cuts like a knife."
"You're singing a big song and everyone's going crazy, and the experience is either really terrifying or can be. "You never let that get to you, and your voice is what helped you rise above all of the chaos," the "Sunday Morning" singer added. "To me, the people that end up winning this show are the ones that have those voices that cut through all the noise."
He went on to say, "I'm going to take all of the 'nos' that I've heard in

country music

and pour them into you. You can win this show, and you have a promising future ahead of you. It's great to have you on my squad, guy.

In a one-on-one interview following the audition, the "She Will Be Loved" singer stated Dawson was the "perfect person to round out" his team, and he saw him going far in country music.
