Adam Brody knows just what to say when it comes to wife Leighton Meester.
After winning the award for best actor in a comedy series at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, the 45-year-old actor shared a few sweet words dedicated to the Gossip Girl alum, 38, which quickly brought her to tears.
"My darling, darling, darling wife, Leighton, thank you," said Brody at the conclusion of his speech. "Thank you for sharing this life with me, and this journey with me. Thank you for our family. [I ] love you with all my heart."
The camera then cut to the actress in the audience, who could be seen getting emotional midway through Brody's speech. She also blew a kiss to him from the audience, which The O.C. star swiftly returned from the stage.

Brody took home the award over his fellow nominees, Brian Jordan Alvarez for English Teacher, David Alan Grier for St. Denis Medical, Steve Martin for Only Murders in the Building, Kayvan Novak for What We Do in the Shadows and Martin Short for Only Murders in the Building.
Following his acceptance speech, the pair embraced in the audience, sharing a celebratory kiss, which was reminiscent of his iconic smooch with his costar Kristen Bell in Nobody Wants This.
It has been an emotional time for the celebrity couple, whose home was engulfed in flames by the deadly Palisades fire last month, according to photos obtained by PEOPLE.
The pair reportedly purchased their five-bedroom, six-bathroom Pacific Palisades home in 2019, according to Architectural Digest. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and share two children — daughter Arlo, born in 2015, and son, whose name has not been revealed, born in 2020.
Just days before Days before the fires, Meester and Brody had a date night at the 2025 Golden Globes, where they stepped out coordinated looks.
In December 2024, The O.C. alum opened up about his life with Meester, telling Stylist, “Despite the state of the world, I feel like I’m living my best life.”
“I have a beautiful, dreamy family life. I have a good work-life balance and get to spend a lot of time with my kids,” he shared. “I’m in that really great period of middle age where I’m old enough to have seniority and work security but also still have enough of my body to be active and do all the things I want to. I’m a lucky guy.”
