2025: Okadigbo, Oyi/Dunukofia Fed. Constituency Backs Ukachukwu Against Soludo
Margery Okadigbo, the wife of the former Senate President, Senator Chuba Okadigbo, has thrown her weight and that of her supporters behind the governorship bid of the All Progressives Congress candidate in the November 8, 2025, election.
Also, Oyi Local Government Chairman, Ifeanyi Chilo Osegbo, welcomed the APC governorship candidate and pledged the unalloyed support of the LGA in the forthcoming poll.
Also, a chieftain of APC, popularly called Eziafakaego, led his supporters to pledge their loyalty and presented a unique key to the Agu-Awka Government House as a symbol of victory and entry by APC into office.
Equally, at Umunnachi venue of the tour, the Dunukofia LGA Chairman of APC and a woman leader, Hon. Uju Onyeanusi, said the six communities with 96,000 registered voters would cast majority of votes for APC to guarantee Ukachukwu’s victory come November 8, this year.
Okadigbo made this when during the Thank You Tour of Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State by the Ukachukwu at Nteje said “Chukwujekwu” the Igbo name of the APC candidate means “God has spoken,” an allusion to expected victory in the forthcoming poll.
Responding, Ukachukwu appreciated the massive turnout of party members and support groups from both Oyi and Dunukofia LGAs, saying the tout was to thank them for voting for him as the APC flagbearer.
He said the visit would also ensure that a 27-man Ward Campaign Council and 400 Polling Uni Canvassers would be flag-off, assuring them of adequate delivery of democracy dividends, if elected.
