MIES (Switzerland) - The 2025 NBA Draft is just days away and the lives of players will change when they hear their names in the two rounds of the draft on June 25 and 26. There will be a massive FIBA influence among the 59 picks with about 60 percent having played in international competitions or a Basketball Without Borders camp.
International players are having more and more impact on the NBA and the 30 NBA franchises are recognizing that and bringing in more players from around the world. We examined the various mock drafts out there and created our own list - highlighting the players' participation in FIBA events.
This is the third installment with picks 16-30 and it will be followed by the last one tomorrow.

Noah Penda jumped from the French second division to the top flight last off-season and enjoyed a strong season with Le Mans with 10.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. That earned him the league's Best Young Player award. The forward has played the last three summers with France's youth national teams - and with much success.
He finished third at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2022 and then took second place at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2023. Last summer he was named to the All-Star Five as France won the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2024.
Ben Saraf is still playing his first season with German club ratiopharm ulm, helping the team to the German Finals after playing last season with Israeli top flight side Elitzur Kiryat Ata. Saraf debuted with the Israeli senior national team with two windows of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

Those came after he was named MVP of the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2024 where Israel finished fourth to qualify for the FIBA U19 World Cup for the first time. The lefty guard also played at the FIBA U16 European Challengers 2021 and FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2022.
Maxime Raynaud finished his fourth season at Stanford University, where he was named First-Team All-ACC. The season before he earned Second-Team All-Pac-12 honors as well as being named Pac-12 Most Improved Player in 2024.
Raynaud helped France take second place at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2019 and was part of the team that won the crown at FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2023.
Rasheer Fleming played his third season at Saint Joseph's University and was rewarded with a spot on the First-Team All-Atlantic 10. The power forward declared for the 2024 NBA Draft but withdrew his name for another season with the Hawks.
Walter Clayton helped University of Florida win the 2025 NCAA title in his second season with the Gators, averaging 18.3 points and 4.2 assists per game. The combo guard was named the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player after being honored as First-Team All-SEC.
Clayton spent the previous two seasons at Iona University and was named the MAAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-MAAC.
Hugo Gonzalez has appeared in games for Spanish giants Real Madrid for the past three seasons, becoming the fourth youngest player in Real's history behind Luka Doncic, Juan Nunez and Usman Garuba. The guard debuted with the Spanish senior national team at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

Gonzalez helped Spain take second place at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2022 and the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2023. He also managed to keep Spain from being relegated at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2024.
Daniel Wolf played this past season with University of Michigan and was named Second-Team All-Big Ten. The 7-foot center played the previous two campaigns at Yale University, where he was named First-Team All-Ivy League in 2024 and the MVP of the 2024 Ivy League tournament.
Wolf played one time for Israel and was named to the All-Star Five in helping the country take second place at the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2023.
Liam McNeeley enters the draft after just one season of college basketball, starring at University of Connecticut. He was named the Big East Freshman of the Year and Third-Team All-Big East. The forward also played for USA Basketball, helping the country take the title at the FIBA U16 AmeriCup 2021.
Cedric Coward played just six games for Washington State University this past season after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury early on in the campaign. He had played the last two seasons at Eastern Washington University and named First-Team All-Big Sky in 2024. Coward played the 2021-22 season with Willamette University was named the Northwest Conference Freshman of the Year and First-Team All-Northwest Conference in 2022.
After this past season Coward declared for the NBA Draft but aslo committed to Duke University. But he announced he would forgo playing at Duke and stay in the draft pool.
Asa Newell is a youth world champion
Asa Newell played just one season of college basketball, scoring 15.4 points per game at University of Georgia and being named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. The power forward played in the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit and is also a youth world champion.
He helped USA win the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2022. Newell also played at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2023 and was named Best Defensive Player.
Nique Clifford finished his fifth season of college basketball, starring at Colorado State University and being named First-Team All-MWC and MWC All-Defensive Team. The guard, who is from the state of Colorado, spent the previous two seasons at the University of Colorado.
Jase Richardson entered the draft after just one season of college basketball, playing at Michigan State University. Richardson is the son of former NBA star Jason Richardson, who played 14 years in the league. Jase was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team as well as the Third-Team All-Big Ten.
The combo guard helped Michigan State reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Nolan Traore finished his first complete season with French top flight club Saint-Quentin and was named as the Basketball Champions League's 2025 Best Young Player. The point guard debuted with the French senior national team in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

Traore helped France finish third at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2022 and then reached the Semi-Finals of the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2023. He was a major part of France's team that took fifth place at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2024 to get the country qualified for the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025.
Noa Essengue is still playing his second season with the German club ratiopharm ulm, who are battling for the German league title in the Finals. The athletic forward debuted with France's senior national team at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.

Carter Bryant was a one-and-done as he played just one season in college, playing at the University of Arizona. The forward helped the Wildcats reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. He was a McDonald's All-American in 2024.
