Jamshedpur: Two minor boys drowned in a waterlogged pit at Rugrupancho village in Chaibasa on Friday. The deceased were identified as Vikas (7) and Vishal (5), sons of one Paltan Singh Kuntia.

Paltan had dug a pit to lay the foundation for a house. Heavy rain led to waterlogging in the pit, the officer in-charge of the Mufassil police station, Chandra Shekhar, said. TNNThe postmortem of the bodies was conducted at the Chaibasa Sadar Hospital.
