Zamfara APC reaffirms loyalty to Tinubu, hails qppointment of Danfulani as NAIC boss
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the party at the national level.
In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau, the State Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, praised President Tinubu’s inclusive leadership style, noting that it reflects his commitment to national unity and development.
The party particularly commended the president for appointing Hon. Yazid Shehu Danfulani as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), describing the move as a source of pride for the people of Zamfara.
“Zamfara State APC Executives, party leaders, elders, stakeholders, and supporters strongly applaud President Tinubu’s foresight in appointing one of our active and promising members, Hon. Yazid Shehu Danfulani, as NAIC MD/CEO,” the statement read.
The party said the appointment sparked widespread celebrations, especially among the youth within and outside the state, and described it as a significant achievement that brings honour to Zamfara.
The statement also appreciated the role of the Minister of State for Defence and former Governor of Zamfara, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, for his continued efforts in promoting the state’s interests at the national level.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Honourable Minister, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, whose tireless efforts have earned Zamfara a respectable place in the national scheme of things,” it added.
The APC urged Danfulani to serve as a worthy ambassador of the state and to bring his wealth of experience as a seasoned banker and technocrat to bear in his new role.
“Words cannot fully express our gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this appointment. Our loyalty to Mr. President and the party remains unshakable,” the party declared.
