Norfolk Police says a woman in her 50s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol

A woman in her 50s has died following a collision on a B-road, officers said.

A black Nissan X-Trail and black Ford Fiesta were involved in a crash on the B11145 Lynn Road in Rougham, Norfolk, on Monday at about 15:15 BST, Norfolk Police said.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a woman in her 50s, was taken to hospital where she died on Tuesday.

A woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol, the force added.

She has since been released on police bail.

The force has appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
