Wire Transfers, a Taser & More: 5 Crazy Things Angela Deem Recently Admitted to In Divorce Court Regarding Her Marriage to Michael Ilesanmi - The Ashley's Reality Roundup
As and move towards officially ending their (briefly) happy union, more details about their marriage have recently emerged as the former couple’s split continues to play out in a Georgia court.
As fans of may recall, Angela filed for an annulment last summer, claiming that her Nigerian husband allegedly “fraudulently induced [her] into a marriage for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States.” In August of 2024, Michael– who is seeking a divorce in lieu of an annulment– denied the allegations of fraud, claiming that he did not abandon Angela when he disappeared from her Hazelhurst, Georgia, home in February 2024, but rather “fled an abusive situation for his own safety.”
Michael also alleged last year that Angela was “guilty of cruel treatment against him,” claiming that Angela “committed both physical and mental abuse”– publicly and privately– during the course of their short-lived marriage.

According to Starcasm, Michael’s attorney filed a motion last week to dismiss Angela’s complaint for annulment (and for Angela to be responsible for paying Michael’s attorney’s fees), based on the fact that the couple’s marriage does not qualify for an annulment and that, according to the State of Georgia, it is considered a valid marriage. Michael’s attorney argued that Angela herself has admitted this– along with a series of other shocking details– as part of her and Michael’s annulment case, in which she was required earlier this year to admit or deny a lengthy list of facts presented by Michael’s attorney.
Below are the 5 biggest bombshells revealed in the motion to dismiss the annulment:

According to the State of Georgia, a valid marriage requires three elements: parties must be able to enter a contract; there must have been an actual contract; and there must have been consummation of the marriage according to law.

Starcasm reports that on March 20, Angela admitted the following facts in her response to Michael’s attorney: she and Michael were married January 27, 2020, in Nigeria; a legal wedding took place in Nigeria; she and Michael had sexual relations after marrying in Nigeria.

While Angela and Michael reportedly sent money to each other before and after tying the knot, Angela admitted that Michael sent her more than $200,000 via wire transfer between May 2018 and December 2023.
Both parties also confirmed that they opened a joint checking account after Michael arrived in the United States in late 2023.

Angela admitted in court documents to traveling to Nigeria at some point and physically making an attempt to “destroy” Michael’s vehicle. Angela also copped to destroying at least one of Michael’s cellphones during their relationship.
While Michael accused Angela of destroying multiple cellphones belonging to him throughout the course of their relationship, Angela admitted to doing it only on one occasion. She also denied keeping Michael’s phone from him for periods of time during their relationship.

of The Sarah Fraser Show was the first to report in April that Angela had allegedly used a taser on Michael during a heated argument in January 2024 while the pair were in California. While Angela has denied using the taser on Michael, she did admit to bringing the taser with her when she and Michael traveled to California in January 2024 for an appointment with her dentist.
As you do…

Angela has denied nearly all of the facts presented to her that were based on scenes from any of the “90 Day Fiance” shows she has appeared on. As previously told you, Angela has insisted that many damning scenes were “TLC scripted” and that Michael was “acutely aware” of this fact in certain cases.
