In the third season of the hit anthology series, the actor can be seen naked in a full-frontal scene

Turns out it takes a lot more than nudity for Patrick Schwarzenegger to shock his mother, Maria Shriver.

During an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, the famed journalist, 69, opened up about what it was like to see her son's full frontal scene in season 3 of The White Lotus.

When the episode dropped, Shriver recalled getting inundated with questions asking if she saw the lewd moment.

"People are like, 'Oh my God, you saw!' [and] I'm like, 'I give birth to him.' It's not such a, you know, I've seen him naked," she laughed. "I've seen him naked since he was a baby."

In the latest season of The White Lotus, Schwarzenegger plays Saxon Ratliff, the eldest son of Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Par­ker Posey), who works for his father’s company.

The rest of the main cast also includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Lek Patravadi, Natasha Rothwell, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood.

Shriver also opened up about how "proud" she was of Schwarzenegger's critically-acclaimed performance and how emphasized that she's been paying attention to how much he's grown as an actor.

"I'm just looking at him and his craft really," she explained. "I'm watching him grow... I think people, when they see somebody in a show like that, they don't realize how much leads up to that moment. They don’t realize how hard he's worked or how many roles he hasn't gotten."

This isn't the first time Shriver has shared her reaction to her son's full-frontal scenes. At Keep Memory Alive’s The Power of Love Gala in February, the author told PEOPLE that the rest of her children were all buzzing about seeing their sibling bare it all on screen.

“My kids were like, ‘Did you see that?’ And I was like, ‘No. What?’ " she said at the time, before indicating that she was only focused on her son’s face and never looked any lower. "So that shows you — a mother's eyes are always on the kids' eyes."
